• Of note, all games listed in Gotsport on Field 4A are taking place on 2A, and all games listed on Field 4B are taking place on 2B.  Unfortunately there is no option for Field 2A or 2B in Gotsport.

We will follow the same Match Day procedures as the regular season, with referees checking teams in using the Match Day Photo Roster and completing Standard Match Card. Please ensure you print copies for all three of your games. 

Roster Rules

• A field player can only participate for ONE team during the entire event. Field players can not move from team to team.
• A GK can play for both teams in emergency (injury/sickness)
• All players must be typed in on the match card that is downloaded from Gotsport
• Only players competing in games this weekend should appear on the match roster. If you have added club pass players previously this year for games, please remove them from the roster. 

Post-Match Responsibilities

• The team listed as the Home Team in Gotsport is required to input the score in Gotsport immediately following the game.

Uniforms

• Saturday: North teams wear light / South Teams wear dark
• Sunday: North teams wear dark / South teams wear light
• If two teams from the same division play each other, the team listed as home in Gotsport is required to change uniforms

Tiebreakers

• If two or more teams finish the FAL playoffs with an equal number of points the following procedure (in order of priority) will be used to break the tie and determine which team advances to the finals.
  • ​Head-to-Head (only applicable if two teams involved)
  • # of Wins
  • Goal differential
  • Goals against
  • Goals for 
  • Penalty Kicks
• **In the event of a 3 team tie, once one team is eliminated by the process above, the tie breaker moves back to tiebreaker point number 1 and moves through till a winner is determined

Finals

• If a final ends in a draw, the game will go straight to penalty kicks (best of 5, and then sudden death if needed).

Championship Trophy

• On Sunday there will be one Championship Trophy for each winning team with the assigned Flight (example U12 Blue - Gold Division). It will be the responsibility of the head coach of the winning team to collect the trophy from Referees Headquarters and give to their team.
