ROSTERS & MATCH DAY REQUIREMENTS

An important note: all teams/players competing in the FAL need to be registered through FYSA.  On a game day, a club needs to bring its Match Card (standard & photo) for check-in purposes. Please find important links below on how to complete this process. The Event Source for Florida Academy League games is the 2025-2026 FYSA Registration Event, so once cleared by FYSA, your players will automatically show up on the Florida Academy League Roster.  ​

Home & Away Team Rosters
  • A Match Card for that specific game (Please input uniform #'s into Gotsport)
    1 Standard Copy (coaches and referee sign this copy at the end of the game)
    2 Photo Copies (1 for the referee to check-in players / 1 for the opponent)

    • U9-U10 = 12 players Max
    • U11-U12 = 16 players Max

Home Team - Post Game
  • Ensure that the referee completes the match card with the following information: goals (time and uniform #), final score, and any red or yellow cards listed next to the player's names (including the reason/code why the card was given.)
    • Both coaches need to sign the match card, and the league recommends that the away team take a picture of the Match Card
  • The home team is responsible for uploading match card, inputting score, yellow/red cards into Gotsport.
    • Match # and Pin # found on Match Card
    • QR Code to go directly to that page in Gotsport also located on the Match Card
    • Scoring Input Page if viewing from a desktop
    • This must be completed in Gotsport within 72 hours of the final whistle.

Additional Reminders
  • A field player can only play for one team per game day (or in Jamboree/playoffs = one team for entire event). If a club wants to use the club pass function to have a member of one team play for the other team that is allowed, but he can only play for one team per day. 
  • A goalkeeper is the only player that can play in multiple games in one day, but this should only happen if another goalkeeper is injured sick, and not to gain a competitive advantage. If a Goalkeeper is playing in both games this should be communicated prior to the date of game to your opponent. 

REFEREE FEES
  • U11-U12 | $60 | $30 | $30 
  • U8-U10 | $50 (one referee)

REFEREE ASSIGNING
  • The HOME club will be responsible for assigning Referees for all Florida Academy League games

REFEREE PAYMENT
  • The HOME club will pay all Referee Fees for all Florida Academy League games
  • If a neutral site game, the teams will split referee fees (50/50)
